EUt+ Common Affiliation
Collaborative activities in research and innovation have encouraged researchers to pool their expertise and resources, leading to the formation of EUt+ Research Groups (ERG) and Institutes (ERI). An ERI represents a strategic concentration of EUt+ research strengths at the European level, operating under a unified name. These ERIs bring together researchers and academics from EUt+ member universities, facilitating collaboration and infrastructure sharing across interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary fields, as well as within focused research domains.
To express this common belonging to EUt+ strategy, joint publications of ERI and ERG are now signed with the double affiliation 1Member University and 2EUt+. This decision reflects the understanding that EUt+ represents more than just a network; it signifies a shared strategic vision and a sense of belonging (affectio societatis). Therefore, all publications are encouraged to adopt this double affiliation. The use of the EUt+ affiliation is also encouraged in line with EUt+'s commitment to Open Access. To acknowledge the alliance's support, authors are advised to use the following statement: "... is a member of EUt+, which supported the execution of the work presented here." Depending on journals requirements, the presentation of the EUt+ common affiliation can vary.

The Council of Administration (CA) of UTCN validated and established the conditions and recommendations the common affiliation will be implemented in UTCN. The CA is formed of all rectors, vice rectors, deans of faculties and directors of support departments. This agreement is structured on two articles.
