This year’s edition in Cluj is shaped around the second annual review of EUt+ Acceler-ate, a moment to reflect on progress, assess impact and achievements, and plan the next steps in the alliance’s development. Beyond this, the week is structured to foster deep collaboration across work packages, showcase innovation, and celebrate European excellence in research, education and culture.

What to expect during the week

  • Monday, 6 October – Preparation of the week’s meetings
  • Tuesday, 7 October – Registration, opening plenary, and work package presenta-tions at UTCN HUB
  • Wednesday, 8 October – A full day of work package presentations, master classes or laboratory visits, capped by the Doctor Honoris Causa awarding ceremony for Mariya Gabriel, Former European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Cul-ture, Education and Youth - in recognition of her outstanding contributions to Eu-rope’s research and education landscape
  • Thursday, 9 October – Continuation of work package presentations and social event
  • Friday, 10 October – Launch of the ECROS initiative
EUt+ Week in Cluj is not just a gathering: it is a milestone in the alliance’s collaborative journey, a platform for innovation, cultural exchange, and shared European values in higher education, research, and technology.
