The EUt+ Sustainability Office invites students from all member universities to take part in a creative Ideas Competition focused on energy savings on campus. The initiative aims to raise awareness and inspire practical, innovative solutions that contribute to reducing energy consumption across the EUt+ Alliance. The competition encourages both individual and group submissions. Collaborative work is particularly welcomed, allowing participants to combine creative and technical expertise.
About the competition
Participants are invited to design a DIN A3 poster presenting an innovative, creative, or practical idea that can help reduce energy use on campus. Proposals should be forward-thinking yet feasible and relevant to all EUt+ universities, regardless of differences in infrastructure or energy sources.
Each submission must include:
- A short, powerful title
- A clearly stated main energy-saving message or strategy
- Supporting visual elements (graphics or icons)
- Optional facts or data demonstrating potential impact
- A motivating slogan or call to action
- Designs should be visually balanced, easy to read, and use minimal but effective text.
- A blank space must be left for the EUt+ logo, which will be added after submission.
Awards and recognition
The three best designs will receive vouchers:
- 1st Prize: €250
- 2nd Prize: €150
- 3rd Prize: €100
In addition to the monetary prizes, winning posters will be featured across EUt+ partner university platforms, including websites and social media channels, and displayed on EUt+ campuses, offering students international visibility within the Alliance.
