Towards the European degree
The European University of Technology (EUt+) is actively advancing toward the creation of a unified European Degree. As part of the European Universities Initiative, EUt+ brings together nine partner institutions with the goal of offering joint degrees that are fully recognized across borders. These degrees go beyond traditional exchange or double-degree models by providing an integrated curriculum and a shared diploma issued by multiple universities.
EUt+ is piloting this approach in several fields, including engineering, telecommunications, and sustainability, with students benefiting from study periods at multiple campuses across Europe. The programs emphasize competence-based learning, industry engagement, and interdisciplinary collaboration, aiming to prepare students for a truly European and global job market.
Though challenges remain—such as harmonizing national accreditation systems and legal frameworks—EUt+ is committed to overcoming them. The alliance aims to offer fully integrated degrees by 2027, laying the foundation for a new, inclusive, and innovative model of higher education in Europe.
